Wrap-around care is provided by Lamesley Childcare. The facilities are excellent and the dedicated areas ensures that children have enough space to have fun, indoors and out. Lamesley Childcare also offer Holiday care.

Breakfast Club

Breakfast club opens from 7.30am to 8.55am Monday to Friday. Lamesley staff will take the children to their classroom each day. A healthy varied breakfast is included in the price for the session. Breakfast will change on a daily basis and can include small fresh fruit juice, croissant, crumpet, pancake or wholemeal/white toast, a choice of four different cereals and fresh fruit. There is always a choice of activities for the children to participate in; mostly table top games, a range of construction, role play, arts and crafts . All children choose what activities they would like to do. The fee for breakfast club is £5.20 per session.

After School Club

After school club opens from 3.15pm to 5.50pm Monday to Friday. Lamesley staff will collect the children from school and take them to the after school club. Parents and carers will collect the children at the end of the session. Children who are attending clubs provided by the school, are collected at 4.15 – 4.30 pm (once the clubs are finished) and taken into the after school club until 5.50pm. This means children do not miss out on activities provided by the school to support their learning. A healthy varied snack is included in the price for the session. This will change on a daily basis and can include beans on toast, pasta, cowboy pie and fresh fruit and vegetables, all chosen by children and used to prepare our weekly menus across all provisions. Children who attend any clubs provided by the school will be given snack in the after school club. There is always a choice of activities for the children to participate in. All children are consulted on what activities they would like to do. Activities include cooking, messy play, games, arts and crafts, large construction, open ended materials, loose parts and access to outdoor play facilities. The fee for after school club is £8.70 per session.

Holiday Club – at St Andrew’s Church Hall, Lamesley

Holiday club opens from 8.00 am to 6.00pm. Monday to Friday at St Andrew’s Church Hall, Lamesley. A programme of holiday activities can be found on Lamesley Childcare’s website www.lamesleychildcare.org. Children from age 3 to 15 years are welcome. The activities are fun, thought provoking and age appropriate. There is an outdoor area for sports, den building, messy play and science activities. A large indoor area means there is plenty of space for arts and crafts, construction, photography, IT, cooking, team games and science activities. Weekly outings are fun and children have access to the beach, Saltwell Park, The Discovery Museum, Bowling and much more and snack is provided at morning and afternoon break. The fee for holiday care is £22 per day.
