Exploring the new outdoor equipment
After waiting for what seemed like a long time, the children (and staff) have been exploring our new outdoor equipment.
Making a Teddy Bear Sculpture
We worked together to make a sculpture of a teddy bear. We used modroc to make the bear's body and then painted it.
Teddy Bears Picnic
We made jam sandwiches for our Teddy Bears Picnic. We then had our picnic in the hall as it was too wet to have it outside and we decided that we did not want soggy sandwiches.
Autumn Walk
During our arts week we went on an autumn walk to collect leaves, conkers and other natural materials to create some pictures.
Planting our reading garden
The children helped to create a reading garden for our outdoor area. They had great fun planting all the different plants and flowers. It made the reading garden a nice place to share books.
