Y6B - Miss Bell

Welcome to Year 6B!

Visit from the Clergy

On Friday - World Book Day- we had the pleasure of listening to Revd. Canon David Banbury talking about his favorite book, the Holy Bible. He discussed how the Bible has helped him through any dark times in his life and the beliefs that he follows.

Our World of Work

This week we had the pleasure of welcoming Mrs. Wilkinson to Year 6B, to talk to us about her world of world as a scientist.

Mrs. Wilkinson told us all about her interesting career and the exciting opportunities it has given her. She explained the line of education she took and gave us the chance to ask any questions we had.

Thank you!

World Book Day 2017

Richard the Historian

This term in Topic, we are learning all about the Tudors. To help our understanding of this period, we had a visit from Richard the Historian, who gave us lots of interesting facts and information about the Tudor times.

We looked at Tudor medicine, royalty, artifacts and even plated Tudor games!

Science Super Stars!

We had some very special visitors from Joseph Swan Academy, as well as some of our own familiar faces, to teach us some very exciting Science experiments.

After researching which experiment they would like to do, with the help of the staff from Joseph Swan Academy, our Science Super Stars taught the rest of us how to complete them too; including making our very own lava lamps!
