We have been learning about Diwali. The children have learnt about what happens at Diwali. They have chosen different materials to decorate a diva lamp and have been creating Rangoli patterns using loose parts.
We have been creating faces from loose parts and natural materials. Can you guess who they are?
Forest School
We had great fun at our first session of forest school. We explored the forest school environment, climbed trees, played in the willow tunnels and shelters, looked for mini-beasts and dug in the mud. It was great fun! The best news we had was that Papa Troll had got married and we also have Mama Troll to watch our learning at forest school.
Finding Vegetables
We went across to the vegetable patch to see what had grown. We were surprised to find courgettes, broad beans and peas. We even found a little caterpillar!
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
