As the UK faces a global coronavirus pandemic, things can feel a little uncertain and even overwhelming. But, during these difficult times, one thing is clear: small acts of kindness make a difference.
Across the country, there has been an outpouring of kindness and children can play their role too. By understanding what we can all do to help tackle this virus, they’ll gain a sense of stability and resilience.
The power of kindness calendar helps children (aged 7 to 11) learn about and carry out kind acts. Children and grown ups can think of kind acts they can do during the month and add them to the blank calendar. This could be acts of kindness in the home, a letter to a friend or relative or they could think about how they could safely help someone in the community.
