Family Hubs
What are Family Hubs?
Gateshead's Family Hubs provide a welcoming space for families to get the help they need on a wide range of issues, providing a 'front door' for families with children aged 0-19 years and up to age 25 with additional needs.
For expectant parents and those with babies and young children, this includes help with parenting, infant feeding and support for parents/carers to manage their own wellbeing.
Family Hubs are also a great place to meet professionals who can support your family - like parent outreach workers, health visitors and maternity services.
It varies from hub to hub what is available, but these often include stay and play sessions, baby massage, sensory rooms, baby and toddler yoga, toddler groups, weaning support and infant first aid. Click on the link below to find out more information on how to join and what is available at each of the family hubs.
