Dough Disco

We love using play dough at nursery to strengthen our fingers so today we thought you could have your own dough disco at home. Don't worry if you don't have any play dough at home-below you will find a recipe to make some yourself and if you keep it in a sealed tupperwear box it will stay fresh for as long as we will need it!

Playdough Recipe

Ingredients

2 cups of plain flour

1 cup of salt

1tsp of cream of tartar

1tbs of vegetable or sunflower oil

2 cups of hot water

(you can add food colouring or even flavouring if you have any at home!)

Method

1. Add the flour and salt, oil and cream of tartar together in a large mixing bowl.

2. If you are using food colouring or flavouring add this to the bowl now too.

3. Add the hot water and stir vigorously until the mixture forms a soft dough.

4. Check your dough isn't too hot to touch and then its ready to use!

Now you have some dough you're ready to join the disco-have fun!

Let's Go To The Dough Disco!

Relax and Unwind

Take 10 or 15 minutes to relax and unwind, listen carefully to the video and feel your body relaxing. Once you feel relaxed stop the video-we might come back to it in a few weeks.
