At Lingey House we are always seeking ways to encourage our children to live fit and healthy lifestyles.  We provide lots of opportunities for our pupils to develop their knowledge and experience new and exciting things.  We want our children to live fit and healthy lives both physically and mentally to equip them for their lives a head.     

At Lingey House we are always looking to sustain and improve the quality of the provision we offer our children.  One way in which we do this is by applying for the Gateshead Healthy School award.  We have already been awarded 'Healthy School Status' but we are in the process of reapplying for our 'Gold' award to show we have maintained our healthy school status. 

We also work with outside agencies in the local community and further afield to encourage our children to make informed decisions about how they travel to school, engage in active healthy life styles, make a difference to the environment and make the correct choices for themselves.
