Planet Friendly Summer
You may have seen pictures and videos about how there is more wildlife out and about while we have been in lockdown. Now we are getting out and about more we want to avoid spoiling the habitats around our homes again. People are using lots more throwaway plastic bottles, gloves, masks etc to avoid spreading germs. In fact, both you and the planet are much better off having your own reusable bottles, cups, masks, gloves and anything else you need. As a family, how could you challenge yourself to become more eco friendly this summer? Using less, throwing away less and recycling more. There are some ideas below to help you.
Colin the COVID-19 Snake
A magical COVID snake has appeared in the park over the past couple of days thanks to Jenis and his mam. We are delighted to play our part in helping to grow the snake but we still have a long way to go! We are trying to get the snake all of the way around the lake with beautifully decorates stones, but need as many people joining as possible the effort .
