Philippines Disaster Fund

 

On Friday 29th November we had a "Wear what you like" Friday and a Staff vs Children football match to raise money for the the Philippines Disaster Fund. We raised over £500 the children won the football on penalties excellent result!! Well done to all. smiley

Remembrance Day

All children took part in a minutes silence. We remembered all the sacrifices made by service men and women.

Children from Lingey House Primary School took part in the regional cross country competition setup by the School Sports Partnership. Lingey House came in the top ten schools which included two pupils coming fourth out of one hundred runners. Below are two images one before the run and one after competing. Spot the difference.

In May we enjoyed history week we all researched different topics. The week ended with an invitation to parents to join in with a family history quiz.

Animal Awareness Day 2012

 

As part of citizenship we had an animal awareness day. Children had the opportunities to find out about different animals and their needs. We had visitors from Bryson's animal Shelter and the Dog Warden. Children and Staff dressed up as animals.
