Fun in the Snow
We had lots of fun in the snow and used it in our learning. We developed our physical skills by rolling very large snowballs to make a snowman, we weighed snowballs to see which was the heaviest and compared the sizes of the snowballs we made.
We are YRGB. We are settling into our new class and exploring all the lovely things in our classroom. Our topics are 'Ourselves and our Families' and 'Celebrations'
Did you know we have apple trees in the grounds of school?
We had great fun picking the apples from the trees. The tricky part was working out how to reach them. The children had lots of problem solving ideas!
Watch this space to find out what we make with them.
With the apples we made...
The children enjoyed weighing out the ingredients, stirring the mixture, baking the cookies and of course the best bit...eating the cookies!
Sharing our work with the Year 1 children.
The Year 1 children came to visit our classroom. They brought their work about owls to share with us and we shared our work with them. It was great to make new friends and talk about our learning.
