Enter a list of words (maybe to describe a character or setting, or feelings when joining a new school etc).
'Wordle' then makes a great poster out of these words. You add words to the list more than once if more than one child says that word. Words that are chosen the most are the most prominent on the poster.
Use the website at Heworth CLC for an activity about the Internet. 'Saftey' came out as the most prominent word on the poster.

'3 In A Row' is a Connect 4 style game which is great for use as a mental/oral starter or during the plenary to the Numeracy lesson.
Pupils are split into 4 teams and each team is allocated 3 dice. One person from each team rolls the 3 dice and teams then can use any of the 4 operations to make as many different answers possible. Teams then have to decide which number to circle on the whiteboard.
Object of the game is to be the first to circle '3 In A Row', but teams also need to think about blocking their opponents too.
NB. The game is best played on a SMARTBoard where the 4 different coloured pens can be used, but can also be played on a drywipe board using different coloured marker pens.
