This half term the children have been looking at the life of a Roman Solider as part of their creative curriculum the ‘Time Machine’. From their research the children have created and designed their own Roman shields and swords which they hope to march together as a Lingey Roman army!
Year’s 3 and 4 held their Christmas Party on Monday. All the children took part in dances and games with some lucky children winning prizes.
Lingey House is the best school in the universe. It is has got the best ICT suite. My favourite lessons are ICT and History. We always Aim High and the lessons that we do are fun. I like playing in the yard with my friends.

Lingey House is the best school because there are lots of clubs to join and nobody is bullied. The lessons are great and the dinners are nice. The teachers are all very kind and we have some great school trips. We have an interactive whiteboard in every classroom.

Lingey House is a nice place to be at. I really enjoy going to school. The work is hard, but I love it. I hate the weekends because I love school so much. My favourite lesson is PE. I have made friends with lots of people at Lingey House and I also like the teachers.

There are always lots of great things to do at Lingey House. Sports Day, Line Dance Festival, Performing Arts Day, copetitions and assemblies. In September some pupils from the current Year 4 and Year 5 are going to London. If I get chosen I will have a great time. All new pupils in our school are warmly welcomed.

There are nice dinners and lots of friends for you to play with and lots to learn like reading and lots of other things. You might like to play in the yard because it is so much fun.
