On Monday afternoon the nursery children went out to have some fun in the snow! We went on a walk around the school grounds. The children really enjoyed running throught the willow tunnel to keep warm.
They look like there having so much fun!

Mr Bailey hosted a Climate Change meeting at Lingey House tonight. It was so good to hear all the exciting things schools are doing to help the environment. Lingey House is a Climate Change lead school. Why are we getting so much snow Mr Bailey?
I met Mr Bailey at a wedding this weekend. I'm a GTP trainee teacher and of course the conversation quickly turned around to teaching. Mr Bailey spoke so enthusiastically about your school that I just had to check it out. To say I'm impressed is an understatement. The feel you get for your school just looking at your resources, the way you have set out each year group to enable readers to see what you have been up to and your obvious enthusiasm for teaching and children is amazing. If only more schools did the same. You clearly put children and their education and welfare first and as a passionate teacher and father, that is the least you can do to make the learning environment a rich and fulfilling one. Hats off to you all and I can only hope and pray that I get a school as enthusiastic as yours in my NQT year! Best of luck for the rest of the school year.
i thing every one is key stage 2 is a bit to big now but we can just duck andthe nursery dose look like they are having great fun also they are being good cause they are all keeping to gether so no one will get lost so good work to allthe nursry

Winter is my favourite season. I love the snow. I'm getting a bit big for the willow tunnel now, but looks like you all had a brilliant time!
