In Literacy this term, Year Four have been looking at different types of persuasive text. We have looked at posters and film trailers. The work we have done has helped us to create our own persuasive voiceovers for a film trailer about recycling plastic bags. We wrote our voiceover using persuasive language and thought about how we would need to perform it to make it sound persuasive. We felt that people should reduce, reuse and recycle their plastic bags. Writing, performing and recording our voiceovers was lots of fun, especially when we listened to them in class! We are now finished this literacy unit and are looking forward to starting playscripts.
