Children from Years 3 and 4 have began to participate in the schools 'Fitness Club' ran by Mrs Gray and Mr Mackley. Children will look to boost their fitness whilst learning all about the human body and how it works. The first session saw Mrs Gray and Mr Mackley shaking their hips and challenging children to hula-hoop whilst jumping! The children are look forward to next week when Mr Mackley introduces the ' Haka! '

jade and lauren can't wait for fitness club! on the second week we did the haka and we did a worm up dance we do that every week before we start then we normly play sarks octpuses it is a game were one or two people are sharks and they have to catch the octpuses then like i told you fantastic dance the haka

we get fit every day cause me my sister jade also kayleigh clark run round every day we some times do 2 full lap's round the full school so we alway's stay fit cant wait for tuseday because that is when fitness club is on i hope we do hooler hooping again cause that was the best thing we did i loved it

I can't wait to see the hoop people hooping! Mrs Jackson has got the hoop bug and so has Mrs Ritchie- they have been hooping and getting fit. Can we have a display next week please?

The first session of the Fitness Fun Club was great. All of the children were fabulous at hooping. The staff have also got the hoop hop bug and have been practising tricks to teach in P.E. No doubt the children will master them very quickly. I think Lingey House must have the best hoopers in the Universe!

i thingk the photoes on the web site was fantastic i saw y3\4's class at fitnes club it was hooler hooping and runing

I went to Gateshead stadium and did hoop la it was cool their was a teacher from america/hollywood and she was crazy she teached us a special handshake and she had a special saying PEACE OUT!
