Space Day at Heworth CLC

Year 5 had a great day on Thursday 17th September when they visited Heworth CLC.

The morning session was spent working on programs and websites centred around our 'Space' topic for this half-term and during the afternoon the pupils took part in an 'Internet Safety' workshop.

When we went to Heworth we had a great time. It was good learning about Space by using ICT. The computers were really hi-tec and were amzing. They even had a webcam built into them. We learnt all about the different planets and how long it takes them to go around the sun.
