Multi - Skills at Heworth School

In October 2008, Year 3 took part in a 'Multi - Skills' tournament at Heworth School. The children competed with other schools in the area and came a very respectable 3rd and 4th with 12 teams in total competing. Multi-skills give young people a sound grounding in Physical Literacy and through this they will encounter a range of activities which are non-sports specific to improve their basic movement and fundamental sport skills in a fun, challenging and enjoyable environment.

It's good to see Y3 having so much fun and keeeping fit at the same time! Y2 have already been to Heworth and Y1 are also due to visit later this term.

Looks like you all had great fun at Heworth Grange. Maybe some budding Olympians for London 2012!
