Children in Mrs McKay's (YR) and Miss Gray's (YR/1) are in for a real treat next term. We will be using the following books within our classrooms while exploring Light & Colour
In Literacy we will be writing our own spells, acting out stories and learning all about rhymes and rhyming words.
In Numeracy we will be learning about one more and making our own witches potions, as well learning ordinal numbers and words that tell us where something is (position). I am sure we will have fun hiding our broomsticks!
In the rest of the curriculum we will be making our own broomsticks, making colour potions to explore colour mixing and exploring our new dark den with fibre optic torches.
We are sure everyone will have lots and lots of fun. We can't wait to get started.
