Lingey House's award winning school grounds just keep getting better and better!
Yesterday members of the School Council were involved in planting a willow tunnel at the edge of our KS2 yard.
More pupils will be involved in the planting over the next couple of days and once complete and we are sure will be another beautiful feature at our school.
Lingey House was awarded 'Best School Grounds' in Gateshead for 2007 and we will be going all out to retain our title again this summer!

Your school grounds are look are looking great and the children should cetainly get hours of fun from the catterpillar, just hope it's not like the catterpillar in the story "The hungry Catterpillar" or they may just get EATEN if he is extra hungry!
It was good to see the web site had been updated as i often look to keep my self upto date what is happening in the school even though Iam no longer there, there is always a place in my heart for Lingey House.
